How do I order a Pit Stop for my vehicle?

Customers may place orders online at www.CarolinaPitStop.com, or by calling (864) 610-8026.

Can I order a Pit Stop to be done at my home?

We are currently offering our Pit Stop services only at business locations. However, we will begin servicing our customers' home locations in early 2006, for those who live in highly-populated areas.

How can you change my vehicle's oil at work?

Through Carolina Pit Stop's partnerships with specialty equipment suppliers, we have invested heavily in products that allow most vehicles to be serviced at any location. By using only the finest equipment available, we are able to empty used oil from your vehicle without raising it off of the ground. If your vehicle needs to be raised slightly to replace the oil filter, we are prepared for this service.

I want a particular brand of oil for my vehicle. Do you carry it?

At Carolina Pit Stop, we realize that some of our customers are loyal to particular brands of oil. Through our partnership with major oil distributors, we are able to provide most available brands. When scheduling your Pit Stop, simply let us know that you'd like an alternate brand of oil. If your choice is for a more expensive product, we will add the cost difference to your bill.

How do I pay for my Pit Stop?

When your vehicle's service is complete, a crew member will return your keys and receive payment. Accepted payment methods include, Visa, MasterCard, cash, and check. In November 2005, we will also begin accepting American Express.

My car needs a tune-up. Can you add this to my Pit Stop?

While we pride ourselves on providing the finest products and maintenance services for your vehicle, the services available by our service teams do not include items such as tune-ups or major component overhauls. However, the vehicle safety inspection included in each Pit Stop will provide a report of any parts or systems of your vehicle that may require additional repairs.

How do I know if I need synthetic oil?

Synthetic motor oils are recommended for use in passenger cars, vans, light trucks and sports utility vehicles operating under severe driving and/or high-temperature conditions, as well as in normal everyday service. In addition, they are specially formulated to help protect and extend the service life of vehicle emissions control systems. If your driving habits include repeated stop-and-go trips, heavy towing, or if your vehicle was originally filled with synthetic oil when it was new, then synthetic oil should be used.
